She Wants Revenge are returning to Poland! Their dark yet irresistibly danceable alternative sound will fill Palladium in Warsaw on January 31st.

In 2004, Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin asked themselves a question: “What would Joy Division sound like if they played more danceable music?” That’s how She Wants Revenge came to life, drawing heavily on post-punk, gothic rock and darkwave, as well as electroclash. As it turned out, they were onto something: Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst quickly took notice and signed them to his Flawless Records label. Shirley Manson of Garbage appeared in their first music video, for “These Things”, while the video for their next single, “Tear You Apart”, was directed by Joaquin Phoenix. The latter track reached No. 6 on the Billboard Alternative Chart, and following the release of their self-titled debut album, the band hit the road alongside Depeche Mode and Placebo. Not a bad way to get started!
The following years were just as eventful. The band collaborated with Timbaland, and their music found its way into films and TV series. “Tear You Apart” gained particular attention after featuring in “American Horror Story: Hotel” at Lady Gaga’s personal request. She Wants Revenge have released three studio albums to date, the latest of which, “Valleyheart”, came out in 2011. Catching the American duo live isn’t an everyday occurrence, making their return to Poland all the more worth looking forward to!
