Morrissey returns to Poland! The legendary vocalist and icon of British pop culture will perform on July 9th at the Summer Stage Progresja in Warsaw, arriving with his new album “Make-up Is a Lie”.

Morrissey’s musical legacy is undeniable. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop culture and one of the greatest lyricists of his generation he has topped charts around the world and received the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. His 2013 autobiography became one of the fastest-selling in history, while artists such as David Bowie, Nancy Sinatra, The Killers, and My Chemical Romance have covered his songs. In 2004, BBC viewers voted him the second greatest living Brit, placed between David Attenborough and Paul McCartney.
As a member of The Smiths, he left a permanent mark on music history with just four albums. From the band’s debut single “Hand in Glove” to his remarkably prolific solo career, Morrissey has shaped a sound whose influence still resonates today. His rich catalogue, including anthems like “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?”, “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out,” “Suedehead,” “Everyday Is Like Sunday,” “Irish Blood, English Heart,” and “First of the Gang to Die”, has established him as one of the most revered vocalists of the past four decades.
His latest album, “Make-up Is a Lie,” was released in early March.
