Geordie Greep will play two shows in Poland this summer! The visionary of British alternative music will perform on July 4th in Kraków (Zaścianek) and July 5th in Warsaw (Hydrozagadka).
When Frank Zappa released his first album with The Mothers of Invention, he was 26 years old. Often compared to him, Geordie Greep had already earned a reputation as one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary alternative by that same age - from co-creating the Windmill scene with Black Midi, alongside acts like Black Country, New Road, Squid, Shame, and Maruja, to his solo work.
Two years ago, Geordie released his debut album “The New Sound,” where he moves freely within his own musical universe - blending prog rock with jazz, funk, and art rock, all while channeling his boundless imagination. You may have caught him live with his band at OFF Festival last year, and this summer he returns for intimate club shows in Kraków and Warsaw.
