Before we say goodbye to the summer for good, we’ll get one last taste of it through the soothing sounds of City of the Sun. Warsaw will become a city of sunshine on September 29th at VooDoo Club.

Although City of the Sun hail from the bustling streets of New York City, their music hardly reflects the pace of the metropolis. Often labeled as indie rock, their sound is deeply infused with Latin folk influences and even elements of world music. The result is something intimate and cinematic, transporting listeners to a world of desert winds, warm evenings in the city, and Mediterranean summers. Their latest album, “Under the Moon”, was released in April and produced by Phil Ek, known for his work with artists such as Fleet Foxes and Father John Misty.
