Amaranthe are coming to Vilnius with a powerful dose of modern, electronics-driven melodic metal! The Swedish band will perform on November 4th at Loftas, joined by Self Deception and Ankor.
Since their formation in 2008, Amaranthe have consistently blended melodic metal with electronic elements and pop sensibility, earning their place among the leading representatives of modern metal. With three vocalists on stage and dynamic, high-energy performances, the Swedes have been drawing huge crowds around the world for years. On their 2024 release “The Catalyst,” the band presents yet another take on their modern approach to metal melody. The album further develops their signature mix of heavy riffs, electronic arrangements, and irresistibly catchy choruses. Amaranthe will arrive in Vilnius with their fresh single “Chaos Theory,” though chances are the setlist will feature even more surprises from the upcoming era.
Self Deception are a Stockholm-based band balancing modern rock with melodic metal. Their music combines heavier riffs with radio-ready hooks, as showcased on albums like “Shapes,” “You Are Only as Sick as Your Secrets,” and “Destroy the Art,” released in 2024. Their newest record “One of Us” will be released on May 15 via Napalm Records, and three singles from the album are already available to listen to.
Ankor are an international alt-metal band based in Catalonia and active for over two decades. The group began with power metal roots, later gaining wider recognition through albums like “Beyond the Silence of These Years” and “White Dragon.” Their latest EP “Shoganai” opened the doors to some of the world’s biggest metal festivals. In recent years, Ankor have performed at Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Graspop, and Download Festival, building a reputation as one of the most exciting acts on the modern metal scene.
